First ever knee problem
Never had a need problem before. I think it is my LCL and just walking isn’t pleasant. I’m not sure there is anything that can be done besides rest. I still work and move around ok but it hurts. My older neighbors said welcome to old age . I think I hurt it climbing off my tractor in my heavy work shoes. I would go to the doc but that is a waste of time. I know how to take ibuprofen lol. Maybe a knee brace?

Hondo, I've had to quit riding my usual pace the last week and a half due to my left knee. I kinda strained it again on a job about three weeks ago, then pedaling started having some pain creep in, with some stabbing pain on occasion. I've definitely been limping a bit.
My knee problem stems from an old soccer injury plus I used to squat a lot to work on machines up to my mid-40s. About age 50 I started wearing knee pads so I could work on my knees, and that has helped greatly.
Over the last few days, I've done some slow low geared pedaling for about 5 or 10 minutes max (per day) to keep my knees flexible but I've put no power into it. As of today, my knee is feeling pretty good. I'm going to give it at least another week off to see how it goes.

Im going to get a knee brace and go from there. Anything to stabilize my knee. It’s a weird injury one minute it feels healed then 5 minutes later it hurts like Hell. See what happens in a few days.

Knee feels better. Been working but not training in this 103 heat but I’m fixing to set up a Fall training plan. I’m trying to get to sleep as I’m radiating
