FSA Omega, AKA PITA

How do I remove a seized preload bolt? This is the large plug on the nds.

Is it actually seized, or are you lacking adequate torque? IIRC that crank has a self-extracting bolt that needs 40Nm to tighten it....and typically breaking torque (AKA loosening) is a fair bit higher.

I agree with Marcus Ti that it is probably not seized. I removed an Omega crankset from my old GT Grade, and I had to use a cheater bar on the end of the allen wrench to get it off. I put the allen key through the hole at the end of a large crescent wrench which gave me enough leverage to break it loose.

I'm guessing because he is new and has made only one post here? I just responded in kind hoping to help him out.

Hammered a 12 mm into the larger diameter- stripped. I' m thinking hole saw to drill down through shoulder and with the shank still stuck slide the arm off. Also, where should i have put this question?

Probably in the bike mechanics forum if you wanted answers from actual bike mechanics: https://www.bikeforums.net/bicycle-mechanics/

I was just being silly, since that is the typical solution: Hit it with a hammer. If it breaks, it was unfixable.
