I don't know what bike to get Help?
Hello guys, I'm pretty new to bmx... but anyways I was wondering what bike you all would recommend for me. I do a lot of all around riding, and lots of dirt jumping so I probably should get a tough one, but I do some street too. I was thinking of a light bike like an Eastern Traildigger or shovelhead, maybe a cincinnati by dk, but I really don't know what all those bikes are like and how the companies are, so I'd like some experienced opinions.
THANKS
THANKS

Actually, 90% of entry level bikes are hi-tensile steel.
So, while you WANT 4130, you will have to pay upwards of $300.00 at least to get it.
So what's your budget?

There are a lot of very similar bikes out there at that price. Any of the three you listed are decent for the price. The DK is the only one that includes front brakes for your cash.
But, the Shovelhead has the best components of what you listed. I personally can't stand bikes without front brakes though... That is a personal decision and not something that I would tell you what to do on. Your choices are more limited when you demand front brakes (manufacturers save money by building bikes with one set less brakes!). You can always go to an aftermarket fork/brakes though if you want them later.

Oh, and the Mosh Lux 4 Star may work at $300.00 even with 100% 4130 frame and fork with Evolver (good) brakes and a good list of components for the price. No front brakes, but as said above, you can switch your fork out later if you want.

bad luck on the arm there freebyrd - get well soon.
Recently I was looking for similar, and got an SE , good solid bike.
What I did find is that now ( end sept 2004) new 2005 are out so a few outfits seem to be knocking 2004 stuff out a bit cheaper, as such I got cromo bike for the money you're looking to spend...
