Help identifying this Miyata
This is for sale locally. The seller says it has an aluminum frame but fr the picture I thinks it looks like a lugged steel frame. Anyone’s insight is appreciated. I have an appointment to see it tomorrow.
thanks Russ

Yep. Commuter. It shows up in the '81 & '82 catalog. https://www.ragandbone.ca/PDFs/Miyat...%20Catalog.pdf

Great colour for a commuter. Jealous. I wish there were more Miyatas on sale in my area.

$180-200 seems about right if everything is perfect. That thing looks like a project. At the very least you'll need $60 worth of tires and tubes.

I was able to get it for $100. It’s gonna need a few hours of restoration and it has some patina, but I feel like overall I got a good buy. Structurally it is sound. The chain guard and fenders have some dents that will need to pounded out. Or, maybe I should just remove all together.
i really like the front rack!
