Tired of snow yet?

Sometimes I wish I actually GOT some snow here in east Texas, although after hearing from some of my friends in the north, maybe I don't wish that at all!

I'm brewing up my best spell just for you Ms.Vicki.

Hear me Mother Nature, Jack Frost and Old Man winter.

We have a disbeliever!

May the wrath of sub zero temps and a snowy blizzard descend on East Texas.

We have a disbeliever here.

May Snow and icicles be hanging from her roof.

Let it be, Let it be,

The all powerful God of snow and ice!

I like riding in snow. Slows all the drivers down, and they get scared, so they actually pay attention to where they are going some of the time. Refreshing.

Not at all tired of it. Can stand to look at it on top of the nearby mountains all day long. This is especially true if I am comfortable in short sleeves and shorts while gazing at the snow caps.

Haven't been able to ride for a week due to combo of cold and wet/ice. Sucks big time. My hand is up.

Snow is ok. I'd just prefer not to have the hassel. What gets me is the REALLY REALLY COLD!

Snow is ok, it is rideable and it makes the lights work better on the trail, what really sucks is rain on snow and ice which makes it close to impossible to ride a bike. Hands half up

16 inches of snow the other day, 3-4 more yesterday, single digit temps, frozen pipes in the basement, sore back from so much shoveling, long drives to work in the snow, no above feezing temps for a long time, and it isn't even Feb yet.

Was off the bike for three straight days.

Yes we can complain, but only because we can. I love it and would have it no other way.

Nothing is ever as sweet as that first warm ride after a long winter of bundling up.

You are barking up the wrong tree ( by gloating and thinking that we are suffering up here) if you think i'd rather be down there where it is warm all of the time, Yech...did that for three years and it never rained, everything was brown, everything was new,

Hard to say exactly because of all the wind. But about 24" I think in East Prov. Could not open the front door. Rode the day after the storm. Hopefully tomorrow too.

Yes, this is just like a real winter..we usually get a little of everything down here but not this much at once. Living by the coast I get a little spolied.

Heat wave this W/E? Above freezing, sunny.

Biking season never ends. Espescially in the Winter Cycling Forum. Snowing right now. Just got back from the garage where i swapped wheels for the studded tires. (some ice too.) I was actually thinking about taking a day off tomorrow. My legs were feeling pretty mashed this morning. I haven't missed a day in a few weeks- at over 20 miles every day. With all of the clothing and winter boots, studded tires etc., it starts to wear on the ol legs after awhile. I need to rest them but man that snow looks fun out there.

Winter biking is fun, but in my opinion its much funner to bike when the ground is crisp.
