Vintage Maruishi Excellence
I just bought a "Maruishi Excellence" vintage for $160...
Does anyone know anything about these bikes?
It's a smooth rider and hardly has and tread on tires.....Tires are pretty cheap.
Was $160 an ok price?

These are very nice early examples of early 80's Japanese built road bikes. The Excellence was a nicer mid level model with nice chro-mo butted frame set and fairly good components. Some details on components tubing type and condition with pics would help with value these varied some depending on year. If in good mostly original condition needing tires and some service $160 would be a fair price. If you give us the serial number off the underside of the bottom bracket and some of the two letter date codes off the back side of some of the components the left crank arm is the easiest to find the year it was made can be determined.
