She’s here! My first real bike

Just picked her up from the bike shop tonight. 2018 Cannondale Quick 1 Disk Womens in small. God help me I’m dragging my middle aged fat ass out in this 95 degree heat to take her for a spin. Just the brief trip down the block and back I’m already madly in love.

Looks awesome! Love the shadows on the rear tire in the second photo...great photography. Mine is supposed to be ready fir pick up end of this week. 2020 Trek DS3 so they had to order it. Not only my first real bike, but first bike in 45 years or so. Really looking forward to it.

Hope you’re enjoying yours!

That is one hell of a bike. Really good looking. I seriously do not know what they do different in a woman's bike though. Is it like a shorter reach maybe? Maybe i should try a woman's bike for my weird physique next time, as i have always used a head tube/stem extender in all my bikes. I still cant ride my bike without it and the bike actually is the recommended size for my height. Anyway, sorry for ruining your thread. I wish you both many many thousands of miles without any hassle and discomfort.

From what hat I read about it the measurements are adjusted to more closely match those of a typical women’s physique.

I am LOVING this bike so far!
