Santa Cruz Heckler 2010 front suspension adapter
Hi all,
I've recently purchased a 2010 santa cruz heckler, I need to purchase some front suspension, the frame currently only accepts straight 1 1/8" forks, can this be adapted to accept tapered forks?
Thanks in advance for your help

That frame has an 1 1/8" straight head tube, which has an internal diameter of 34mm. Headset cups are at least 1mm thickness, so that reduces the internal diameter to 32mm or less. A tapered fork has a lower section that is at least 38mm with a 40mm crown race seat, so there is no practical way to make it fit.

If your headtube has a 44mm bore (i.e. uses integrated or semi-integrated bearings) then yes, there are adapters for tapered forks, the most popular seems to be the one by Cane Creek:
