Campagnolo is beautiful. Shimano is ugly. I would always get Campy tech if I could afford it. Luckily I got it on my Ti bike posted above.

Beware of titanium frames that are on the lower end of the price range. Titanium is not easy to weld, it needs an inert gas environment and great skill to weld correctly. This makes good Ti frames...

I love my Surly Cross Check. It's very versatile. You could put 25mm tires and have a fast bike, or you can put 32mm tires and rack and panniers to do grocery shopping or touring.
