of course riding gravel is not zero risk but most gravel routes have far less or zero traffic so fewer vehicles is almost certainly going to mean lowering one’s risk of getting hit while riding.

What is normal level of psi loss for tubeless tires?

First time I’ve setup tubeless tires on my gravel bike. 700x42 tires at around 40psi. I’m assuming a psi or two loss is normal overnight.

I did end up buying a lauf. Only ridden on gravel so far. I do have a separate set of wheels with size 28 tires when I get around to taking it out on the pavement. It’s a great bike

If my bike was 20 lbs, I wouldn’t worry about it. My bike is 26+ lbs. So it’s a noticeable weight difference between my gravel bike and road bike.
