I put 2500 on my Pirelli Velos without any problems. Center section of rear tire was a little squared off so I replaced it. Didn’t really need to be replaced, but I did it anyway for piece of mind.

Making more progress.

Maintained 30mph for 20 secs on a short seated sprint on a flat section of my route. Until today…..I hadn’t ridden faster than 25mph, and that was on a slight decline.

Pirelli Velos arrived. Got both tires done(mounted, seated, and filled with sealant) in 15 mins total. Couldn’t have been easier.

Ya...I bought the bike. It was a good deal with carbon fiber stem and seat post, Shimano SPD pedals, Richie bars etc so I didn’t want to wait around and have it sold before I made a decision.
