Had to swap the randonneur bars and original levers because they were not working for me at all. Bike is now sporting a Soma Late Riser bar, with Brooks leather grips, and Tektro city brake levers...

I think they are great -- would not ride without them. Mr.Tuffy and Schwalbe Marathon plus combine to make flats no longer an issue. To me, bikes are practical, daily transportation.
