As mentioned, the adapter goes the other way...

As mentioned, the adapter goes the other way around, with the higher post in the front. Those CPS washers are probably not necessary. I haven't used any of those since the original Avid calipers...

See how it is when the adapter is put on the correct way around with the shorter bolt.

The 'up arrow' only points up when that adapter is on a fork, when that adapter is on a chain stay mount it...
