Very funny Larmer. Next time you see a 21" Paramount just buy it and flip it in my direction...nice seeing you in the big house. Looks like we both married up.

...It was exceptionally beautiful, and very reasonably priced. Had I known you at the time, I'd have carried it home just to salvage the trip. :)

Would anyone be interested in this 64 cm Peugeot U08 frame? It was thrown in the deal when I picked up another bike but this is just way too large for me to bother with.

If you are near NYC you can pick it up and have it.

Looks like a fun project, to bad it is too far away. And to big.

Sekai 2000 Series 58 cm. A few very tiny rusts spots here and there and a little dusty. Looking for anything in 58 to 60 cm range, but a Univega would be nice. I've also got a maroon 62 cm 1984 Schwinn World complete bike up for grabs.

avzay66 12-13-14 03:19 PM

Puch Marco Polo Reynolds 531 Frame.
52cm c-to-c seat tube, 57.5 cm c-to-c top tube, lugs stamped as "72"; I assume that is the frame angles. Forged Shimano Dropouts on the frame

looking for something interesting in 58-61cm range

1989 Schwinn Paramount frameset. Waterford built. It is a Paramount classic made with Columbus SLX. 53cm, red, Paramount logoed Stronglight headset.

Pics in the for sale link.

Looking for similar value/quality 56cm frame set.

So, I started at the beginning of this thread and went a few pages in, and skipped to the end and went a few pages back, hoping to see my question answered before I jumped in here.

Sorry if this has an obvious answer, but how much does it cost to ship a frame within the US?

David Newton 12-29-14 10:54 PM

It depends how far, and how heavy you load the box, but $60 will go a long way.

BluesDaddy 12-29-14 11:02 PM

USPS is great if you get under the 108" dimension. (see their website for info)
I've shipped frames for as little as $25-30 after carefully measuring and cutting down a bike box.

Edited due to being given correct info from Waterford.

I'm on mobile and the site won't let me upload photos nor will my photo bucket account.

Shoot me an email address and I'll get you pictures.

Hmm... just thought I'd throw this up here. I love this bike but I really could use a shorter top tube. This is a 1987 Schwinn Tempo (Tenax) powder coated pink. 52cm ST and 54cm TT.

I would trade the frame/fork for something with a 51-52cm TT if I could swap every component. (1" head tube, ENG BB, at least 126mm spacing, standard DT shifter bosses, recessed brakes, 28mm tires... doesn't matter if there are eyelets)

similar paint scheme to yours, just a few years newer possibly, and different lugs. Vitus 172 tubing IIRC. I am off work in an hour, and can take a new pic. My hard drive went out a couple of months ago, and I'd rather take fresh pics than search 44 pages of online storage, lol!,,,,,,,BD

No problem, no hurry. Looking for something a little different really.

Bikedued 01-03-15 09:15 PM

Hmm, I haven't measured it lately either. It might be too big anyway. Here's a pic from when I originally found it and cleaned it up.,,,,BD

Thats a great looking bike, but probably to big. 62cm is my limit. Forgot about that steel grey/black combo. Very nice.

Bikedued 01-03-15 09:58 PM

Man, I had a very slim chance of getting the same model in champagne beige and BROWN! The only one I'd ever seen in that combo(in person anyway). Looked awesome!,,,,BD
