1) do probiotic pills even work? 2) do they restore what needs to be restored? |

Isle of Springs, a little flyspeck so small it barely has a Wikipedia page. It itself shouldn't be opened this year - the only access is via boat, or exiting via Medevac/ Lifestar/ whatever. And while most cottages don't have the widespread family that ours does, the people do come in from all over the country and aren't going to want to socially-distance. It will be outright irresponsible if the island is opened, but it's run by the people who want to vacation there.
One of my relatives even said on the family group text "I could be happy quarantining on the Island for a 14 days!". Which... no. I wanted to throw my phone across the room when I saw that. |

I went to Costco yesterday and there was several pallets each of TP and paper towels. It seemed like everyone I saw had one of each I their cart.
|
HEB (awesome Texas grocery store) had shelves full of all paper products when I went yesterday. Limit one.

It wasn't too bad. Masks are now mandatory for customers and employees. They have a lot of stuff but certain things are in short supply. I didn't check for TP, though.
I'll say one other thing, which is that I am unhappy with how the sad demographics of this pandemic are causing me to think about where I go. |

Dryer heating element showed up a day early. 30 minutes and one beer later and we're back in business. |

We have regular kraut too. I often sautee onions for a bit, then add garlic, then dump in saurkraut, and put it on low. Excellent side dish with pierogies and/or brats.

The sauerkraut I'm eating right now says it's "old fashioned."
Unclear how that differs from modern sauerkraut. |

I can't find it; someone will certainly be able to post the big version up. It was an old man in a cycling outfit raising a glass.
I admit when I first saw it I wondered if it was Trainsnorter himself. I think other forum members have made the same mistake. |
