January is White Bike Month
Let’s see what you have. Or what you have seen.

Haven't you run out of colors yet?

I got this Falcon San Remo frame several years ago from the sale forum here, it was already powdercoated white and I decided to keep it that way. First is the way I had it setup a few years ago, then below how it looks today (different crankset on it now, but otherwise the same):

But for now, here's my white-with-rust-highlights 1973 Nishiki Olympic. https://farm9.staticflickr.com/8576/...c564e2b8_b.jpg My winter project is to rebuild this as a 1x6 with a flat bar and a bunch of components I've collected over multiple cullings from the Box O' Crap. My stretch goal is to clean up the rust and touch up the paint. If I like the way it rides I might even get it powder coated and re-decaled. |
I worked on this '86 Cannondale R400 a while ago - one of my first resale projects:
https://farm6.staticflickr.com/5588/...1b11d0fa_c.jpg I probably should have kept this Super Sport, but it was a little too big: https://farm5.staticflickr.com/4163/...cce17d3c_c.jpg And I DEFINITELY should have kept this 560ex. Got a bit of a profit selling it, but it wasn't worth it. https://farm1.staticflickr.com/599/3...7f4d1390_c.jpg |

This will be the least desirable bike in this thread, but I bought it brand new 21 years ago for $1200 and it's probably the best fitting ride I've ever had. 17lbs with a 6400 group.

For some reason all my white bikes seem to be Raleighs.

I love it. I pull my kids on pedal trailers using this or my tandem nearly every day.
It's no where near as fancy as the bikes above, but it's mine. :) Happy New Year! |

At first I was thinking I really haven't had many white bikes. The only one that came to mind is the '66 Paramount out in the studio.

When I started this thread, I forgot I own a white bike!
1975 Viscount converted to fixed gear. It's fun for quick trips in the city, and it's lightweight. https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/Ah...w2090-h1560-no |
