Sensah shifters now in silver?

I recently upgraded a "Miami-vice" ironman from 105 with 2x6spd to 2x9spd with Sensah shifters, using all the original derailleurs, a new 12-28 cassette, new wheels (ultegra hubs & Open pro wheels found on the street) and a newer Shimano dual-pivot front brake.
The bike is great and shifts awesomely. Brakes are more powerful too. But one thing bugged me was that I could not get the shifters in silver so had to settle for black but it now looks like Sensah is making silver shifters.

So they shift Shimano 9 speed?

Yes- they work the same as any old shimano 9spd brifter but with under bar tape cables. The brake levers however have a cable pull similar to current Shimano levers so for the front caliper at least, I'd recommend dual-pivot calipers with good pads (kool stop for example) or SLR-EV calipers.

Very nice. Now there is an aero cable choice for the older bikes!
BTW this is how I understand double tap shifting:
1. small push to go from big gear to small gear
2. big push to go from small gear to big gear
But how do you get to 2, without triggering 1 first?

icemilkcoffee You release the cable with the small push. If that's all the more you move the lever, it drops a gear. If you continue swinging the lever up, it catches the cable before it can release tension and rachets up into the next gear. If you've ever ridden SRAM, it's almost identical internally.

I am also a Sensah shifter convert. I put the 9spd on my dalliance with carbon on a Museeuw build as well as a set of the 8spd on my modern do-everything-build. Really tempted to get a set of 7spd to make the most out of doing a dirt-drop mtb project.

Nice, I like having a silver option. All black is pretty boring imo.

How do these compare to Microshift? Does the whole brake lever move on the downshift?
