I had my follow up today after my failed nerve block test. All signs point to a bad disc. I am going to see if my insurance company will pay for a discogram diagnostic test. If the test produces pain the disc is bad and surgery is the next step. They already denied the test but that was before I did the nerve block.
I'm screwed. Now I have to decide on fusion or artificial disc. The first neurosurgeon I saw talked about fusion being the better option and that Tiger Woods had fusion to repair his back. |

Was able to squeeze in a second ride last night after work (wife wanted me out of her hair). It’s amazing how much faster I am in warmer temps. (80 degrees vs 40)
