I wanted to post that I will not be checking in on the Bike Forum anymore. If you respond to any of my previous posts and I do not respond I am not being rude, I am simply not coming back. If I have said or responded to your posts in a way that has upset you I do apologize as I have never meant to offend or disparage anyone's ideas or opinions. Thank you to all that have offered their help and ideas to my many dumb questions and I hope all that post here have nothing but the best weather, finest trails, and problem-free rides.

Well, that's not rage quitting, and it's not quiet quitting... and I don't even recognize OP's name... this post rocks.

I recognize the name, I interacted with him a few times. Seemed like a nice person. Maybe not thick skinned enough for this place.

Few are. It helps to be smarter and better looking than the vast majority of participants here. I am reckoning the OP was lacking there too.

The signal to noise ratio in bf is mighty low.

With a coherent signal, you can listen down into the the noise about 15 dB, and we may be about to that point.

From the thread title and the fact this in 50+ forum, I expected this was going to be a health related gotta give up cycling post. I guess it is better the OP is losing interest in BF than bikes or being sidelined by health issues.

some just don't / won't tolerate negativity

they will participate in a forum to enhance - if/when it becomes a negative they might shut it down

If you desire acrimony in abundance (before the mods descend) Pianoworld is the place to be. And of course, the Authors forum found on Amazon Books.
Both take some beating for entertainment.

The forum equivalent of leaving a suicide note, it's not necessary, but peace.
