Si', tires yes. 25 are to large for the rear stays. If the rim get even a little out of true I get rubbing. Or if I climb standing it deflects enough to rub. I did yesterday's ride on 23s. It was way better. 25s may ride smoother. But I don't do this for a smooth ride. Although 10 psi lowered pressure made a huge diffrrence.

If it's for the low position set up. Here's what I do.
Shift to the small ring. And lowest gear in back. (biggest cog) Use the limit screw to adjust the derailure to make contact with the chain. (I know it's counterintuitive) loosen the fixing bolt.. pull the slack out of the cable. Tighten the fixing bolt. Now loosen the limit screw to take the slack out of the cable and move the derailuer off the chain. Now you have a zero position with no slack.

There are red tailed hawks in this area, but more in wooded places. Coloring seems a bit different, but I really have no idea. Didn't have time to sit and wait for it to take flight.

When it comes to cat names, I think a lot of people expect something at least a little exotic, like Dashiell or Mica. People ask me what my rescue cats name is. I tell them he came with the name Stephen and they find his pedestrian human name so funny.

Thanks for the heads up. We are thinking about going down in September sometime, so may have to give it a try. It's not far from my daughter's place.

I think I am finally starting to get out of my fatigue funk. Further, I think it has been entirely driven by really poor nutrition choices for the past couple of weeks.

We have them in the heart of the city. On the fall you can often find them hunting in a major urban square downtown after the leaves have fallen from the trees. They catch rats, pigeons squirrels. Pigeons flocking in circles is usually a good sign that one is in the area. One time there was one on a limb picking at a rat it had caught. Piece of guts were falling to the ground. Most people walking around don't notice them because they never look up.

Another time one was on a limb when it caught sight of a clueless squirrel hopping around. The bird froze, got this glare in its eye and slowly started to lean forward. Me and another guy were like "This is going to be so cool!" Hawk launches itself right at the squirrel, who had its back to the hawk. At the very last second, the squirrel, having no idea he was about to become lunch, hopped under a park bench. Hawk pulls up and hits the bench. Some feathers go flying. Hawk sits on the bench for a few minutes grooming his ruffled chest feathers then takes off.

That’ll do it. I’ve gotten lax over the past weeks and am suffering for it.

It's not a Red-tailed, it could be a southern version of a Broad-winged who got an early start on the migration, otherwise Texas is not their normal range. Kind of big for a Kite. I'd put down a few dollars on a Broad-wiged hawk.

You may be right. I thought it looked like a Red Tail then I saw this.
