New lock and cable day. Last month I unlocked outside of work and think I left my keys on a low wall. Came back not even 15 minutes later and they were gone. Either that or they fell out of my pocket, but I don’t think so. The lock dates back to the early 90s.

Not sure what the problem is - can you link to the bars/stem? You want a gps unit on top and light below? What kind of quick release mount do you have on your current light?
On the Domane, which had a Blndr mount, there were adapters for various light mounts, including GoPro-style, which had become a popular method of converting. As far as the Bolt, it's the same mount as Garmin, just turned 90⁰. On some mounts, you can unscrew the mounting plate, turn it, and screw it back in. Otherwise, you can look for an alternate mounting plate. And there's always Shapeways - users have designed/uploaded plenty of converters/adapters that you can print out. My current night rider has the rubber strap that you have to stretch around the bar, the Madone SLR bars are too wide for it to stretch around. Are light manufactures creating all quick release equal? I wouldn’t thing my night rider could fit the the bontrager light mount. https://cimg8.ibsrv.net/gimg/bikefor...cd405942df.png Are the backs of garmin and wahoo the same? I was under the impression they would be different, to the point a garmin mount wouldn’t match a wahoo and wahoo mount wouldn’t match a garmin. The bars come with the mount on the picture for a garmin, to fit a wahoo I would have to buy an after market mount. The only one that I have found that will do the above set up is through trek and it basically turns the wahoo from 280.00 dollars to 350.00 dollars. |
slow morning. Everyone must be chopping wood, preparing for a cold hard winter.

Yesterday was dry, today is wet. I should have checked the weather yesterday and did a cycling activity then.

No mass start but guesstimate is about 150-200 riders. Weather was chilly start (50) but within an hour warmed up nicely, it was sunny and low humidity. Perfect weather for a long day in the saddle.

Update: I spoke with another rider who did the ride yesterday and he told me my estimate was accurate for the century but there were shorter options and total number of riders 400-500.

I could have easily checked the website. For whatever reason, I just assumed it would be OK today.

Got to play a round of disc golf with one of my best friends today. He was asked to come visit a Guard F-16 unit in nearby Columbia SC, so he ended up being able to visit for a little bit.
It was a beautiful day and a beautiful time, even though that bastid beat me by one stroke :notamused: |
