If you want to witness one of their fine performances, you'll have to travel to Syracuse.

I was working a road race course for our local club once. As the Cat 5 group approached my location, on a flat straight bit of road, they fell in a heap for no apparent reason.

Boy howdy!
This summer I rode with a guy who is now over 21,240 for the year and rode them fast. He’s retired and recently lost his son to a hematological malignancy, poor man, so that explains some of it. I did 12K miles that year, my highest total. On Saturday one of the ladies in club #2 told me she does 12K per year. She is in her 50s and had a hip replaced early last year. She has great endurance. |

Almost twice as expensive. For that budget, I'd likely go with this Drifter – No. 22 Bicycle Company (22bicycles.com)

Statins are essentially the default at this point and there’s always a reason.
I refer to mine, snarkily, to my painfully sincere and conscientious PCP, as the “immortality pill.” I was on atorvastatin for a while and had lots of post-exercise discomfort. The water soluble ones, such as pravastatin, don’t enter muscle cells as readily and have milder side effects. edit, if I irritate them by sitting wrong, with my legs under me, or in a folding chair. |

I get lots of hamstring cramps when I push it. I don’t think statins do that. Worst part is when I jackknife to straighten my knee, it often causes my chronically overworked abs to spasm. …Or maybe it’s the same spinal cord process doing both.

I added an edit to the above. My hammys only do it post ride if I sit wrong, legs under me,, or in folding chairs. I don't know why but they don't like folding chairs. If I sit in the car or stay on my feet it's no problem.

I forgot, while I was on this last trip, a box from trek showed up at the house. The guy I worked with to order the madone sent us a little Christmas gift. New bottle and a coffee mug. That was pretty awesome.
