All of my downtube shifters either went into the trash, or the parts- or donate bin! All four of my 'road'-ridden bikes wear SunTour friction barcons, and the off-roaders / MTBs wear thumbies... NO Brifters or D/t shifters for me!!!

Some of these are sweet! i only have my normal Simplex downtube shifters on both my Peugeots, and no photos better than a this..
This thead is making me want to delve into the world of shifters though. https://cimg8.ibsrv.net/gimg/bikefor...034c668d2a.jpg |

I like the auto trim feature(for the front derailleur)on these. This is a 'too small for me' bike that I've had for too long... https://cimg6.ibsrv.net/gimg/bikefor...1470910926.jpg |
Put these on a Trek 670 I’m finishing up. Something different then the Campy NRs it came with, already have a couple of bikes with those.

I'm afraid I must admit I don't have many bikes with downtube shifters, but the shifters are one of the few parts I've kept original on my 1969 Raleigh Competition.

I would truly be impressed if both brake levers were on the left side of the handlebar...

Sorry, I do not have a close-up on this Simplex lever, but it polished up better than I had anticipated and the tension adjustment knob seems a bit unique to me:
