The 2022 Commuting Mileage Thread!
 

Well... 2021 is over (Finally). I've managed to survive everything that's been going on. I've re-upped yet again at the English school in China I've been working for, and as such, it has kept me safe and employed throughout the dumpster fires of last year. Happy New Year!!! So, it's now 2022 (at least for me it is). That means it's time for the newest edition of the Commuting Mileage Thread! I know I'm not that active on the forums, but I still don't have a car, want a car (or even like cars for that matter), and I'm still riding my bike almost every day).

For reference, here's the link to the 2021 thread, 2020 thread, the 2019 thread, and a link to the 2018 thread to compare how everyone did over the last few years! If you check out this link to the 2017 thread, you'll find links to earlier year's editions.

I want to put in my mileage, so I copy the list above, put in my name plus my current commuting mileage total for this year (Optionally, following that, I'll add parenthesis with my Cumulative Total Miles, or an alternative distance measurement (I use the Chinese Lǐ ()). You can also put in your commute ratios in brackets... e.g [3/5] is three commutes for five opportunities:

Mary _________________________________ 988.5 (Total 1350)
Robert (CA) __________________________ 500.0

A week later I want to update my mileage, So I copy over the list from the most recent post, and adjust the mileage behind my name. As my mileage has become greater that the mileage of the person above me in the list, I cut and paste my name to represent the changed standings: (You can also put in your commute ratios in brackets... e.g [3/5] is three commutes for five opportunities)

If you want, you can do a quick search and check out the threads from past years, beginning in 2009. Wow! Has it been 12 years already?!

It's 0°C (32°F) outside (not including the wind chill), and what snow that is still on the ground is from Christmas. It never warmed up above 2°C yesterday

I just noticed that the date/time is wrong (It should be showing 1-1-22, not 12-31-21... I wonder if my VPN is causing that... But then again, I'm logged in as if I'm in S. Korea.... Hmmm.

Also, can't seem to find how to change the font family to Courier New... What happened?

Hey @K'Tesh, good to see you again... there doesn't seem to be a menu option to pick the font anymore so I do it manually with html tags:

The good news is that you can also use that "Source" button to view the raw HTML and fix things if it's gone wrong.

Just to show how much the traffic here has died, here's Friday, Feb 6, 2015. Nearly 4 dozen participants and the top were already in the 700's. I'm on track for a banner year but no way do I deserve to top the leader board
