Still jonesing for something more modern and quick though... Too bad that making a big purchase right now is "financially irresponsible" because we're doing something silly like "saving up to buy a house" :innocent: |
This chapter of Addiction will begin with titanium bikes.
We'll begin with the makeover of Mo's beautiful $4000 Lynskey. The bike has lost its way. Could you please post your photos, Mo? |
Background about Mo - he knows more about COVID and infectious disease than all of us. Most importantly, he has the money to fix his Lynskey.

The fenders have to go. There are better, less intrusive options. The one on my Cinelli comes on and off in two seconds, so you only have to use it in case your ass will get wet or it's in full commute mode.
Lynskey branded saddle has to go. What cranks are those? |

I assume it was custom. Why didn't you make the HT taller? |
That's cool.

Some nice smooth black aluminum fenders would look so good, though. |
I'm a big fan of the hand-hammed (lookin') fenders.

They keep the bling factor high, but also hide scratches and dents really well. I think that the pattern would be a bit out of place on the Lynskey, I'd go with smooth and black. |
