What brand is this bike ?
Hello,
I need your help. I saw an interesting add for a bike but impossible to find the frame manufacturer. Does someone recognize it ? https://cimg2.ibsrv.net/gimg/bikefor...1513f3ff5c.jpg https://cimg3.ibsrv.net/gimg/bikefor...60f2fc8dc3.jpg |

I went to their shop back in ‘08 in search of someone who was willing to slightly widen some rack holes. Two other shops declined due to potential liability reasons. The guy at Bilenky I first spoke to said “We’ll drill holes in anything as long as it’s not ours.” They did the job right away, offered me some pastry and gave me a tour of the facility. I had to wonder how many people would not buy a bike from them if they first saw the place. It was controlled chaos. But in their defense, they were in the process of adding a paint shop. The place is completely unassuming and located (literally) up against the tracks in a not so nice neighborhood. Right next door is a junkyard. After everything, I asked how much I owed them, Dude kept refusing payment. Upon my insistence, he said “Give me $9.” I opened my wallet to find, to my astonishment, that I had a five and four ones—and nothing more. True story. |

. From 2008 to 2013, we ran Junkyard Cyclocross where racers navigated our neighboring salvage yard. Racers twisted through rusty chicanes made of auto parts of our yesteryears. https://www.bilenky.com/the-crew |

Bilenky builds fantastic, handmade bikes. Does it fit you? What is the asking price?

Hi
I finally get thé bike and started to tear all parts to keep the frame. https://cimg9.ibsrv.net/gimg/bikefor...4f125873e2.jpg Happy to find every thing in good condition.. I clean/polished thé frame and start to think how to re build it. I wonder if these fixing point Can be used for break calipers. 37 mm seems note standard... https://cimg2.ibsrv.net/gimg/bikefor...0413ece66e.jpg |
Those are for mounting fenders and racks. They will not work for brake calipers, especially not the right side as pictures. Curious to see more pictures of the frame, and how you build it!
