How are litigation activities? Going to try to put a guy down tomorrow. Knocked him out on Tues, but now he's back on the stand with a photographic memory whereas he had Alzheimers on Tuesday. Problem is his newly remembered story is so good that it doesn't match his old story. We'll see how it goes. I'm tired. |

OMG it's raining cats and dogs out there!
And just after it started I remembered I'd left the window open on minivan #2 the other day. And I had a battery charging in the garage and a mostly dead battery in the car. I was cursing as I put on a flannel and my rain shell imagining lugging batteries to and fro, and dealing with the PITA side mount terminals because I don't have a ratcheting 8mm end wrench.. |

You can use a 1/4 drive 5/16 or 8mm socket or a 6 point end wrench. Or Vice Grips, of course.
Luckily I didn't have to mess with that at all tonight. It's new battery time anyways, as the two batteries in question are an El cheapo Walmart battery from 2017 and one without a date on it that came with minivan #2 when we bought it about 3 years ago and looks pretty aged. |

But, you should totally get the Fulcrums. |
Who am I to argue? Purchased.

Did another race tonight. This one was short, like 4.2 miles. Came in 3rd, but ZwiftPower DQ'd me for "W/kg". First time THAT has happened! In fact they DQ'd the first 3, so the guy who came in 4th 'won'. I can't complain, because I've 'won' that way. I guess I should start riding the C races and start hating racing because I'm always getting dropped.

There should be. If there was a Henry Ford to automate bicycle manufacturing, prices would be more reasonable.
Cheaper to manufacture doesn't translate into cheaper to buy...it translates into higher profit potential. |

How do you figure? It doesn't work that way @ Fomoco, they're as expensive as any other automobile.

My MIL had an '80s era 944, and as it became a senior 944 the repair and maintenance costs smacked her upside the pocketbook more than a few times. Some people, like masochists, might like that kind of stuff. |
