Aled is riding a Trendsetter bike. A Giant Propel with Zonda wheels. Moving it around , out on the porch, I had the urge to hop on it and see how it rides. One of these days I'll try one out.

I must be getting old. I ran out of whey protein last week and havnt been able to get a replacement yet. I swear I could feel a difference in recovery. Maybe it’s all in my head, but my legs were very vocal today and I didn’t do anything crazy this week.

Good ride in. I see Cav is leading a fake ride at noon EDT and a lot of Zwifters have signed up.
Skip. |

My lightning fast internet is unable to load drone footage of the tornado destruction. Meanwhile our electricity is surging more violently than it was yesterday.

Yesterday's cycling related activities consisted of swapping the Bianchi off the trainer in favor of the Canyon, because I have some imaginary climbing in mind. I love the Bianchi on the road, but on the trainer despite being nice and comfy, it exacerbates the 50/34 crankset problem of needing to shift chainrings often. I shoulda gotten a 52/36 when I had the chance. |

speaking of indoor trainers. Ran into a cycling work friend of mine. 2 things. He used to ride a lot and I noticed I hadn’t seen him on strava much this past year. He told me he never hydrated properly when he rode and now he has developed a condition that when he rides the muscles in his legs cramp so severely he can barely move the next day. There is no cure. Add this to the list of things to be scared of.
Second thing, I told him about my knee pain and how it feels worse on the trainer. He recommended to raise the front wheel about 6 inches. He said that made his wahoo a lot more comfortable. I havnt been using my trainer so I have not tried this yet. What do you guys think about it? |
