I wouldn't ride that thing with your legs and @datlas pushing. :innocent:

This was the one thing that I wasn't sure about. I like that the Aspero has the inserts to change the trail geo a bit, to compensate for wheel/tire size. Seems like a good idea for a one-bike solution.

I have been away, busy at work. I am told that between 50% and 80% of our patients who are getting PCR tests for COVID19 this week are coming back positive.

:twitchy:

I’d honestly try to make a go of it with the Revolt if I could, but there’s just something that feels off about it, it’s a little cramped feeling is the only way I could describe it.

Placid Planet up in Lake Placid has a few in stock in the purple sunset color, so I could potentially head up there and take a spin around. Excel also has a black GRX 600 in stock too.

Or I may buy a frameset and strip the Di2 bits bars and stem from the R3 and sell the frame and wheels. I would have to use mechanical disc until I replaced the shifters. Decisions, decisions…

Slow day. Everyone must be engaged in pre-Music City Bowl festivities.

You realize it's a stationary indoor bike, don't you?

Either way, I don't plan to ride it either.

It's fugly.

I am, sadly, still not back to full snuff. But I did get the mowing done, and I fiddled with the bike some. I was really hoping I could slam a 27.2 seat post into it, but that now seems unlikely, especially if I later want to remove it. C&V is suggesting it takes a 26.8. The one that's in it is unreadable, and my eyes aren't good enough to accurately read my dial caliper. The issue being that I don't want to have to change saddles every time she wants to use it. So much simpler to change the post, saddle included. The tubing is Tange Cromoly, in case any of you out there are in the know. Possibly LoP.

Must be why the lights are turned down.

I remember the time some "friends" of mine tried to hook me up with a blind date in this dark corner of a club. Bastids. :notamused:

Not yet. But I am askeered I might get it. The omicron variant is quite contagious, so I am being extra cautious with masks etc.

Once, a next door neighbor set me up on a blind date with her "really cute" tennis instructor. That has to be okay, right?

Wrong. From the moment she answered her door.

Ended up going to the darkest restaurant I could think of.

Kidz these days have it so easy. They can scope out people on social media in ways we never could.

Another positive test in my sister's family. Her daughter. And a positive test, in Houston, of a friend's daughter who tested negative when she left Merida a few days ago.

Jeez, watch out!

We had 80 Clinical Center staff out with COVID yesterday and today they designated two inpatient units for isolation. Only medically necessary admissions and outpatients visits are being allowed and I am hoping to stay the hell away until it’s over.
