Wahoo Fitness App not synching with Strava

As the title states. Not sure if it is a Wahoo app issue or Strava app issue. Despite being adamant in my complaint to Wahoo about the Wahoo FITNESS app, the answer given was for the Element app, which I do not have any flavor of Element or the app...

So, bike setup, 1986 KHS Fiero updated a few years ago. I use the Wahoo Blue SC sensor set. Also, the previous generation of TickrX HRM. Connected to my Samsung S10+ android device. The info that synchs to Google Fit and MyFitnessPal is minimal at best. I have tried, logging out of both Wahoo Fitness and Strava, restarting my phone, then logging in again to both apps, to no avail. Wondering if anyone has run into this issue of late? Solution? I've tried this scenario with cycling, just walking with the TickrX, over cell systems, and at home wifi only.

when is the last time you sync'd using the whaoo app? i synced just yesterday using CycleMeter and it owrked fine. i ask becasue possibly the protocol has changed since your last sync. you might alto try disabling the strava interface then re-enabling it, i believe that should force authentication again.

Update Strava and/or the Wahoo apps. It does this periodically and when it does I always find out there's an update.

Honestly, the last time I used the Wahoo Fitness app was over a year ago. I hadn't ridden this bike since then, and always used the Wahoo Fitness app when riding this bike since I have the Wahoo Blue SC sensors. Never had any issues.

Not that I haven't ridden, my indoor bike rides have all been on Zwift and that has no trouble uploading to Strava. I don't have any sensors on my 29er MTB so have only used the Strava app when riding that bike (well, I have other bikes without sensors as well...)

I have verified latest versions of each app, but getting answers from either Strava or Wahoo has been like pulling teeth...

Logged into Wahoo Fitness on my android tablet. Hit upload and done... Despite both apps on my phone being up to date, I am going to delete and reinstall Wahoo first.

I've seen that message maybe 5 times in 4 years of Wahoo Elemnt use. Every time except one it was just an intermittent thing - try again later and it worked fine. Between your wireless, Wahoo, Strava and the cloud services they use, there is always the chance of a hiccup - just like the rest of the Internet.

That one time, I contacted Wahoo and they had pushed out a bad update - they released a fixed version and all was good.

De-authorizing Strava uploads and re-authorizing, didn't help. So, uninstalled Strava AND Wahoo, and reinstalled both. Problem resolved.
