50 mile club ride today. Decent size turnout but only 4 of us did the 50. There was one guy who kept trying to push the pace but the other 3 of us wouldn't bite. A couple years ago I was with him when he tried to follow a car through a gate and the gate came down and hit him in the throat. Last year he crashed when the road narrowed and that time he broke his frame along with some ribs.

Other people have expressed concern about him in the past and today I was watching him and sometimes he seems oblivious to the dangers around him. Everyone likes him, he's a great guy but he worries me.

Had a good ride. A bunch of my friends did a sub-5 hour century in Delaware. It was a little too much of a time commitment for me, but doing a 4:XX century is on my bucket list. Maybe next year.

The US has and will. A friend of mine sailed in the J22 class world championship regatta a few weeks ago with a guy from our area who has won 3 Olympic sailing medals. They won. That's kind of a big deal in sailing circles.
