Is this a good tape job? I can't tell.

uhm, no
|
That's almost as classic of advertising as the "backwards fork" you see on so many BSOs
|
That looks like something I wrapped

Define “good.”

My last attempt at wrapping bars with faux leather tape like that didn't turn out much better.
To use such an example in product photos is beyond me. |
That's ...uhm... not so good!

Don't those English people have different standards as to what looks acceptable and "you should probably see a dentist about that"?

On a scale from 1 to 10, I'd give it a 1 or 2. I sure would not use it in an advertisement.

I think the sales pitch should include "use only on no brake fixies."

Does not need any extra tool

It might be considered a good tape job ... for a one-handed man.
For a no-handed man, it's excellent. :thumb: |
Pretty good for a blind-folded man.
|
I thought I sucked at wrapping bars........... but I can do better than THAT!
|
Pooey-stinko!!!
|
Yup!, No need for an extra tool as the one who wrapped that bar was definitely a tool......

I don’t get it. What’s wrong with it?

Blame the Marketing intern

Was going to crack a snide remark, but just thought about the fact that whoever in China set up that bar tape for the pictures is probably underpaid and trying to eke out a living without anyone giving them the slightest assistance to prep any specialty item...

Imagine what it would look like with brake levers.
