That's the ONLY valid use of Pumpkin Spice.

Just crashed, bad. Unfurling believable.

Front wheel is bent, tire is popped still trying to see any other damage. Kit is destroyed. Helmet did its job.

:( sorry about the bike. glad you are ok enough to post about it.

I like pumpkin bars (and really, they're more like pumpkin cake) with cream cheese frosting, too. Mmmmmm.

I think there's a limit to how many devices can connect via Bluetooth. And I think that limit is ONE. Do you have an ANT+ dongle? I have one, on a USB extension cord designed just for that. I put the end in a ziploc bag, and place that behind the front wheel, connected to the laptop.

BTW, here's my Zwifting setup. No, the orange bucket is NOT for puking into! Mind you, that's not a bad idea.....

I like the dual fan setup. Must consider.

bampilot06 10-14-21 01:08 PM

Just picked up the bike. It’s good to go. Pinch flat and some scrapes on rear derailer and right shifter.

I have a third fan even larger and more powerful, that I break out on days when the garage is warmer than two fans can handle.

And I STILL end up soaked.

Glad that's all! But it must be a bummer getting the first scrapes on a new bike, like when I was washing my car when it was just new and I let the hose nozzle hit the paint and chip it.

Not happy about it, but with as hard as I hit and how jacked up my body is I am happy there is no other damage to the bike.

The paint didn’t even get scratched.

On another note, Noticed I hit a max of 609 watts this morning. :innocent: (probably during the crash)

And that's not what's in pumpkin pie in any case. There's another, less photogenic and less "jack-o-lantern-friendly" cultivar that's used for canned pumpkin.

Pumpkin pie is the one pie The Boys agree on - The Younger Boy doesn't like fruit of any kind. His grandfather would have been scandalized - he built a whole career on fruit. I'd say he's rolling over in his grave, but he's in a box on a bookshelf......

Ah! You absorbed the impact with your body, protecting the bike! Good man!

That's it? Ouch - insult on top of injury.

Wind blows.

I'm glad to hear that about the bike. Save some pennies and buy a new brifter and derail down the road, and it'll be as good as new.

I did that when I scratched up my fork early in the Domane's life. Just couldn't stand to look at the scratches on such a new bike, so I bought a new fork. Sucked then, but now I don't even think about it.

I prefer sweet potato pie over pumpkin. (Yeah, there's one in every crowd.)

I'll eat it if there's no other pies available, but I won't be happy about it. :notamused:

I can't say that I've ever had sweet potato pie, but maybe I did and found it unremarkable - in a good way, because if it were bad I'd remember.

I just saw something on Facebook - "How to deal with Anti-Vaxxers at a holiday dinner", and I thought a) "Get the **** outta my house", or b) "Here's your bell. There's your corner. Don't leave it."

Mojo31 10-14-21 02:40 PM

I have two brothers who are rigid anti-vaxers, and they appeared on the initial guest list for our daughter's wedding. One I can't stand anyway. Big debate raging about whether they should stay on the list.

That better be at least a 20 minute average or Trek's gonna take that bike back from him. :)

I know that I'll get more used to the conditions as the season wears on, but **** me, does this make trainer work look a little more appealing.

Our last two days have been wet but at least we are in the low 60s and the wind died down today. Still, I’m tired of cleaning chains nd bikes.
