I wrote this mostly to capture my own memory, but a few of my friends have enjoyed it.

Well done sir, way to beat the sun. That isn't easy.

Thanks for sharing, greatly enjoyed the read...having finished the 100 in that heat, my hat goes off to anyone who finished the 200 this year!

Great report. Hats off for a great finish! I rode the DK50 in 2018 and the DK100 this year. Not tempted to go for 200 yet, but I hope to do the 100 again. DK is the best cycling event I've ever been in. Nothing like Dirty Kanza.

Outstanding job watching the numbers! That’s how you do a grind on minimal training. Thank you for sharing the deets. I love an underdog. Thumbs up all around.

Oh, hey. How long did it take to recover from such glorious filthy torture? What methods and foods?

asking for a friend.

I took a week off the bike. Just normal eating and resting.

It took about a month for a blister on my right hand to heal. It was under the thick skin on the palm and never burst. Just eventually went away. Probably would have healed quicker, but every time I rode, it flared it back up and refilled.
