No indeed. Though actually, the girl in question has two cats and also took up marathoning a few years after we split.

Jeez, I had no idea life was so hard for some folks.

I must have led a sheltered life or something.

This rig might be more to your liking.

I visited a local roaster today, so it's new bean day tomorrow! :bday:

Since getting the single-dosing grinder, I've been having more fun with trying different beans - it's a lot easier to taste differences when it's quick and easy to swap beans. True, the habit/consumption has gone up a little bit, but at least the cost has been offset by my wife finding affordable beans that she really likes. She'll try something that I like and crinkle her nose, "why would anyone like fruit notes in their coffee?" I don't know, dear, but I'll be happy to make your espresso with the $8/2lb beans while I enjoy stuff that's 4-6x as much. :D

I was behind one of these cars today. It had a historical vehicle license plate.

The one I saw was probably circa 1990, so 32 years old.

last time I did it that’s what I used. Ben Moore advance alkyd semi gloss. It’s a great paint

If I hadn’t paid to do this, for sure.

It was originally 77 with 7k, now it’s a little shorter. One of the roads was not passable so they needed to re-route

Would have had Wordle in 3 if I had used my normal start, which I gave up on because it always led to 4. :notamused:

I went ahead and signed up for booster #2. Honestly, the data for it is less compelling and even the FDA/CDC gave a lukewarm “permissive approval” rather than full recommendation….but in my line of work I see a lot of sick people so I figure benefit>risk. Getting it later today, and hoping it won’t ruin my Sunday ride where I am supposed to ride my age.

My mother is going to get hers before her hip replacement, as an extra precaution against being in the hospital and with a stressed body.
