Last Sunday, I noticed that I couldn't shift in to the smallest cog. I don't know how it got screwed up, but I dinked around with the limit screw and it was fine.

Today, about 35 miles in to my ride, I noticed that I couldn't shift to any of the 4 smallest cogs.

I haven't looked yet, but I'm pretty sure that it's a problem that datlas is all too familiar with. :notamused:

Ugh. It's been a mix of rain and snow all week, so I was looking forward to getting in a couple of decent rides with the (relatively) nice weather this weekend. I cleared some ride time tomorrow, but couldn't make it to a bike shop before close today. I just checked, and none of 'em opens before 10am (and that one's 20 minutes away) - I'll be lucky if I can roll out before noon. :notamused:

What's the problem? Here in the winterlands it won't warm up until noon.

Are the two on the left yours? They look huge compared to the Holdsworth.

Not proprietary, you can get butt loads of data from the state on all aspects of the program. I think the pass/fail rate here in California is similar to what LAJ posted for CO. with fewer fails than his state.
Here, vehicles 2000 and newer don't go on the dyno or get a tailpipe test, just a visual inspection and data check from the vehicle's computer. I've been out of it for 3 years but they are supposed to be testing if the vehicle has had an aftermarket engine control program installed in it. Don't know how that's working out.

California also tests diesel light trucks and cars.

With our help California is working on it, and we were able to get CALID's and CVN's from California. That is proprietary and with it, we are catching tuners left and right.

They are. The white track bike and the Holdsworth have the same effective top tube length of 57cm so they fit fairly similar to one another. The Holdsworth is just obviously a more aggressive fit, plus it has a fairly steep 8 degree slope to the top tube. Makes for a lot of seatpost out of the frame.

The silver Trek is just way too big. 63cm x 59cm. Trying to sell it but not having a lot of luck so far.

I had a fun ride with the club but only about 55 miles. One friend commented that it was fun going fast in a bigger group again, we haven't done much of that for a couple years. We had a coffee stop and then split into smaller groups for the return. It was pretty hot on the one longer climb, I haven't had that feeling in a while. You know, slight tailwind makes you feel like you're baking, sweat running into the eyes, wishing for one more gear.

Some new guy came along. Grey hair, high dollar bike and kit, made some sketchy moves. We encouraged him to go with the slower group on the way back but he went with us and we lost him in the hills. We waited a long time, I hope he knew the way.

wut, You've got good riding weather by 9am.

If you want "good" it's more like 4 p.m.
