I've been selected to be a Brooks saddle tester. Just what I needed to inspire me to ride more. I've applied three times, and finally figured out what they want to hear. Or maybe they just felt sorry for me.:)

I think it was a variation on this. With ricotta and feta instead of the mozzarella and cheddar, and we used some grape tomatoes grown out on the balcony. And there were some various sized circles of crust that were put on top to make it look really pretty.

No special knife required :thumb:

The Rovals on my Allez are 2:1 out back. They're pretty stiff.

Of course, the fact that the rim is 50mm carbon may contribute. :)

A guy I know broke the flange on a Chris King front hub. He's a big guy that puts in a lot of miles on bad roads and somebody thought it would be a good idea to build him a light weight wheel - CK hub, radial lacing, aluminum nipples.

Fortunately, Chris King warrantied the hub for him. When I rebuilt the wheel, it was 2-cross with brass nipples. He's been riding it for about a year. So far, so good.

I was a little skeptical of the low spoke count and lacing on my Rovals, at first. But they're great.

My latest set of wheels is 2x on high flange hubs, they feel great. Makes me wish I would have built my Trek wheels 2x, but I had the spokes for 3x on hand and I'm cheap.

I'd have to know how close to tangentially the spokes exit the hub flange ;)

This morning I learned that even if I connect my Hammer to my 945 as a power meter, it still broadcasts speed as well. This generates a mileage count for indoor activity. I’ll clean it up for the leaderboard later today and use AG’s old Powertap pedals in the future.

I still have no idea why everything is so intent on applying a mileage count to indoor activities.
