.

I saw on the news that Chicago expressways were having trouble, too.

Did you wake up to a winter weather advisory? I did :(

A hazardous weather outlook. Danger is in the air.

Stay safe out there.

According to social media, lots of people including myself got their stimulus checks today :bday:

Clever wife saw before I did and squirreled it away into savings so that I wouldn't get any crazy ideas.

Jokes on her, though. They've been there a while and aren't going away anytime soon.

Reported to the feds, pal! You are required to rush out and spend that money!

I was at the grocers just this morning and the paper products aisle was still wiped out . . . except for s Bounty paper towels which surprised me, actually. They're probably gone as I speak now.

I tried!

I showed her a nice steel Burley, a Cervelo Prodigy, and even a super clean 1978 CB550!

No luck :(

We have regular kraut too. I often sautee onions for a bit, then add garlic, then dump in saurkraut, and put it on low. Excellent side dish with pierogies and/or brats.

I've never been a fan of kraut. Never even knew what kimchi was until about a year ago, just not on my radar.

My co-op has it, too. If you see someone on the street that is carrying reusable canvas bags and that smells of patchouli, just follow them - they're going to a place that has it.

Coach assigned me 30x30x30 for this morning. They were supposed to be at FTP, but I did ~350w. Sadly, not my FTP, but apparently I’ll get to do a test next week. Hoping for at least 285w.

Cole slaw I DO like.

It hit our account this morning.

When my mother made slaw she would make a bowl for my dad and a second bowl for the rest of us. Pollo Loco slaw isn't bad for a fast food place.

big john 04-15-20 09:17 AM

Must go riding. Nicest day in a long time.

Got my license through the local community college a few years ago during a 2 day weekend course, which was a lot of fun. I've never been in a real good position to own one financially or storage-wise, but I still renew it every time I have to get a new license, just in case ;)

Bah Humbug 04-15-20 09:29 AM

I would so love an updated SuperProdigy.

I got a CB400 the summer before my senior year in high school. Fun little thing. No license, not even a car driver's license. Parents didn't know about it. Parked it a few blocks from home, stored it in my friend's garage in the winter.

Yup, I was a rascal.

Mayo, otherwise it's kraut isn't it?

Velo Vol 04-15-20 09:57 AM

Spending part of my "check" at the auto mechanic (my car is older than datlas 's Saturn) and also at the witch doctor's for the mouse medicine infusion.
