Actually a nice looking frame. I liked the frame shown with the Di2 group. Seems too light to me, but maybe it's still strong enough.

I wonder what the limits of lightness are. I can't imagine a frame that light (695g). I think my coffee cup weighs more.

Too bad it's kind of ugly. I don't like Cannondale running down the headtube and on to the fork.

Always

I love it! Imagine that frame with a set of Lightweight Ventoux.

I can't wait for a decade from now when the tech will become affordable!

1.5 pounds? So after adding everything they have to add maybe 10 pounds of ballast for it to be legal, right?

I see 10lb bikes for me in the future. OH YEAH!!!

They said that it is stronger than the CAAD 9 frame so it must be strong enough.

That's great, budget 5 kilo bike builds will become much more common.

Rear triangle & chainstays look super thin...

it's actually a good point. with things progressing like this, theoretically these ultralight frames will become the norm.
at that time, will we ALL be riding bikes that are significantly lighter than the pros?

hopefully this will mean a price drop on the existing supersix himod bikes. That way, I'll only have to sell one kidney to get one, instead of two!

Did anyone else catch the "class-leading stiffness to weight ratio" comment. I'd like to see how stiff it is compared to heavier frames, not what kind of ratio it can produce. It's essentially saying "It's loss of stiffness is proportional to it's loss of weight." A lot less impressive when you put it that way.

It's still heavier than this one, but they're getting close.
