Delaying new bike day until after a long weekend should be a criminal offence.

And a mild weather weekend too, only supposed to be 101° ish.

A tracking number is a positive step, but the timing sucks.

My wife is upset that our local deer eat the hosta. You can have some of ours if you run short.

Our hosta problem is typically rabbits. They've been absent this year, though - we think that they're laying low because of a new cat that's been prowling the block.

Yeah,:notamused:

Monday is my birthday, and I'll be stuck doing my birthday ride on Trek Domane with Dura-Ace Di2.

We have wild rabbits as well. But there is also a red-tailed fox that is more than happy to eat the rabbits. There are hawks around as well - they could snag a rabbit.

We thought it was deer just because of the amount that got eaten. I was looking into getting a game camera and strapping it to a tree so we could see what sort of wildlife we have wandering through our yard. But I haven't gotten around to it.

That feeling when your work laptop is struggling for a compile while you have a quad-core desktop in the next room.

I was thinking about going for my first 200k yesterday, but it wasn't the time. Some time this year, though.

And I still want to see if I can convince the wife drive the kids and meet me in Duluth, which would be close to 300k. No telling if I'd be in the mood to pad the ride at the end to crawl over that 300k line, though.

I did a 200k once, here in pancake land. I have no desire to do it again. But, with some hills, it would be more pleasant. Non-serious cyclists are so afraid of hills. But it's the only chance to rest. As everyone here is well aware.

I just received a package from FedEx. The urinary tract catfood that I can buy in extreme downtown Merida in saner times. It's out on on the porch in quarantine.

I don’t know if your library has a digital option, but read his autobiography “not dead yet” if you can. Makes for an interesting reading.

Will do. With luck, there is an audio version.

im hoping it’s just muscle spasms and would go away with a day or two of rest. :injured:

I have been resting now, for five weeks. Once I finally surrendered to it, I cannot recommend it too highly.

The deer around here don't bother with our produce. Of course, we are adjacent to a hundred acres of alfalfa.

The local chipmunk population is on the upswing this year. More holes near the cemetery.

Hey MoAlpha I have an interesting but puzzling neurological case. It may be just craziness but I am worried about this patient. His neurologist thinks it's a "functional neurological disorder" which is a wastebasket diagnosis IMO. Willing to hear the story sometime??

Not a big fan of the deer, for that very reason, eating my garden plants. Jumping in front of your car is not the best way to win me over either. :notamused:

Awww, so sad. You should throw that piece of crap away. In fact, I'm your size, I'll pick it up next time I'm out there.
