That would be a sight to see.

Kudos. But not even on the podium? Sad!

It’s hot in the house. I just got home. The only cool spot is the basement so Jackie and I are relaxing here.

I like Lexington, though some of the smaller, local restaurants that we used to go to seem to have folded up. Just there for the night?

Ironman too. The boomers must love their participation trophies.

Bah Humbug 06-23-20 04:17 PM

Trainer will be ridden tomorrow. Excellent.

I certainly remember those ends with the screws, but I don't remember them being Campy.

There is some incredible riding around there. At one time, I tried to talk my wife in to moving to Georgetown, KY.

Too bad there is no podium for resting HR. I had not worn my Apple Watch for awhile but put it on recently. If I rest and relax I have no problem getting it down in the 40’s. Lowest just now was 44.

i went for a walk, and people drive crazy here. Iím sure there are some good back roads to ride but from what I have seen, I would be worried about getting hit by a car. This is my second day here and I havnt seen one cyclist in the area that I am.

Slacker. I'm still getting warnings from my watch in the middle of the night every time I stay below 40 bpm for over 10 minutes at a stretch - sometimes 4-5x per night.

Tremendous backroads for riding. Small lanes and rolling.

I can't believe that you guys made me go to the shop and pull this off the peg board. It's a little-used Lapize with the red "pull" end. You can tell a "serious" cyclist used it because of the twist in the bottom of the strap. Lapize was a lower quality but an old traditional company.

BTW, I'm trying to eschew my C&V status but you guys keep exposing it. :D

Extra kudos for the twist. Thatís pro!

I do admit my pulse is currently in the low 50s because I rode 46 miles today. Had to sneak that in. ;)

indyfabz 06-23-20 05:34 PM

Huge turnout for tonightís memorial ride, despite the heat index. Hundreds of people, and a police escort for the open road portion.
