I'm surprised Chittenango doesn't have a MUP.

Maybe you can make a special trip to Cazjecknovia?

Interesting; had never run into that. Not sure if those programs ever existed around me.

That they used to hang right.

Cazenovistan. Get it right.

One of the most lovely things about living here is that we eat papayas and mangoes almost every day almost year round. Local mangoes are just coming in season right now. The season is extremely short. Locally. I don't know where those yellow ones come from, but they are around almost year round. Papayas are available year round. And pineapples. I just finished a three fruit salad. Yum

I'm happy with just straight pineapple. Mmm.

I had my last two pineapples straight. Think I might spice this one up with some strawberries and blueberries. Gotta check to see if it's ready to peel and eat yet, though.

Why don't you snowshoe there? Are you afraid you'll go astray and break through the ice?

Hard pass.

Correct. The others are garbage.

Too well-trodden, don't need snowshoes. Good for fat biking though.

Oh. If that's the case, do they send icebreakers through to keep the cargo moving?

I occasionally jump on the towpath to shortcut road routes or head to the bike shop (a canal spur ends at the backdoor of the shop).

No commercial traffic these days.

Is the ice thick enough for skating in the winter?

I nearly clotheslined myself between Lockport and Brockport. One of those tourist barges being pulled by a mule. Didn’t notice the tow rope until late. Do they still have those?

Probably, but I've never seen anyone do it. I have seen people riding fat bikes on Cazenovia Lake.
