A Praxis would look nice. [/sbxx] ;) But a Quarq is more useful. [/Hummer] |

It's OK for the Puch and Trek. Not for Mo's bike.
Hey Mo - how long is your commute and do you ride in the winter? |

Post up the Habanero and let's see how much sbxx can enable you.

I can't believe Praxis cranks are take-offs now like FSA has always been. That's the way to go.

Enve made it for them. Between the frameset and Ardennes, you have a solid start.
I assume it was custom. Why didn't you make the HT taller? |

Just to up the ti bikes in here so far, my new Lynskey. When they have their clearance sales, prices become very affordable. |

Kudos on the proper radius and centering.
It's one of those things that I really take a lot of time to make sure is right, and afterwards I take a lot of pride in. It's even harder with the skinwall tires since there's a very distinctive visual reference so close. |

Let's see your fenders. I'll show you mine.
Two seconds on or off, which includes time to find the right spot to touch it without getting dirty. https://cimg5.ibsrv.net/gimg/bikefor...f1f87191ae.jpg |

NIce. How do you like those wheels? They were pretty tempting when on sale at Competitive.

Lots of bottle cage options instead of the one lonely generic LBS one.
My favorite for carbon is the Arundel Mandible. My favorite for good looking cheap is the Tacx Tao. It's discontinued, but I found a two pack for the Cinelli. |

I know that this is the Ti thread now and I've already violated the rules by posting some steel, but these all remind me of the bike I never should have sold.
I seriously think about this thing a few times a month. 2008 GT GTR Type CX. The sexiest aluminum frame I've ever seen in the flesh. Thinking how it would look with a more modern groupset just hurts :( https://cimg2.ibsrv.net/gimg/bikefor...b45ae8e800.jpg I've looked through my old emails and found the guy that I sold it to, but we never exchanged numbers, just talked through the Craigslist email system. I've seriously thought about trying to track him down and buy at least the frameset back from him. |

It has since been replaced by a Ti cage which came as part of the R3 deal.

Amazing bike. No thanks on that fender-oid object.
What bar shape do you prefer or do you have a preferred bar? Great opportunity for matching stem/post/bars. Deda, Enve (will match fork), 3T. |

I'm losing on the fenders. Can you get something less ugly? You've gotten suggestions.

I'm drooling over Whyfi's and Slowgo's Cervelos, and now you guys are pushing titanium. I just got this email from Ribble who have a new ti model. Looks very interesting and pretty reasonable!

We just realize ol MoAlpha isn't going to turf the fenders, so may as well get something that looks like it belongs on that bike, that isn't wood.

That is pretty nice looking - I like the dropped stays and the sandblasted branding. Under $2500 for Ti with hydro 105 is pretty darn good.
