Shameful. Are you telling me that if the powerful Addiction mod team suddenly packed up and moved out that this thread, much like Afganistan, would quickly be overrun by insurgents from the surrounding region?

New generation Tundra was released and doesn't get it done. No V8. Land Cruiser is gone. All the Toyota trucks will have a hybrid option by 2023. |

If I were building with those hubs for that bike, I'd use rim with a classic profile, like a Mavic Open Pro or an H Son Plus TB14 (if you want to go wider) with DT Swiss Competition spokes and brass nipples.
I figure I can probably build the wheel, as in lacing it, without too much problem - plenty of videos! But the tensioning/detensioning/retensioning thing, I'm concerned about. I had a pair of wheels built once that needed retensioning/retruing after <100 miles. OTOH, the wheels I had built for the Battaglin went 5000 miles and went through several potholes before they needed any truing at all -THAT is the level of quality I'd call a Gold Standard. |

So I am shopping for aluminum rim wheels to go with the new Habanero build. I have a message out to Psimet, but he seems kinda busy. I am also looking at Bicycle Wheel Warehouse, they have some decent offerings at my budget.
Anyone have experience with BWW? I am too lazy to search and to scared to ask in the 41. edit: search shows some reviews are really good and some not-so-good. Pretty much par for the course. |

Of course, the H Y D R A wrapping around the rim may not be the aesthetic of choice for the build. |

I COULD reuse the spokes, because the ERD of the Aerohead and A23 are only 1 mm different. I was able to find the dimensions for the 7400/7403 F/R hubs, and there are a number of spoke calculators out there.

Excel sent out an email on the new Cervelo R5. Looks nice. Same geometry as the previous R5, but it'll take up to 34mm tires and it's got the internally routed cockpit.
https://cimg9.ibsrv.net/gimg/bikefor...4ecd9473fd.jpg The $5k price for the frameset is a bit "ouch" though. :twitchy: |
