Mrs. GeneJockey's Mom was a reader in a town of uneducated people, so she knew many words from reading that she'd never heard spoken, like the time she was talking about the "subtle nuances" of something, but said "nunces".
I was shocked. |

Probably. I mean, most people can barely drive in 2 dimensions, so why should adding one make it easier? If the engine in your car stops, you slow to a stop. If the engine in your plane stops, you plummet to the ground.

Ditto. I love snakes so I'd love to see a rattler, but I think my opinion may change if I do finally run across one.
I received this book as a gift when I was younger: https://cimg3.ibsrv.net/gimg/bikefor...9dd040cac2.jpg As a student of "Hooked on Phonics", I absolutely butchered the pronunciation and am reminded of it every so often. I don't ever want to see a mountain lion. If I ever, do that means that it's been watching me for a while - and that's absolutely horrifying. The bobcats around here used to make me nervous. Mountain lion is a whole nuther matter. |

I wouldn't say "plummet" - rather "descending faster than you would like to be, towards an area you weren't planning on."

Slick Rick rerelease news. Double LP with some demo cuts, etc. added, and a book.

In other olde hiphop news, headed back from the trails to the minivan the other night I rode by the beach volleyball pit and these young teenagers were volleyballlin' and rockin' Cypress Hill on their boombox!!!
It warmed my heart. |

Even more rare is seeing a fox. I've only seen one in the wild. |

A smart filter would mute posts containing "gravel," "dirt," "fatbike," etc. |

I can’t believe it’s November already.
