If I was on Strava then and you could see all the miles being ridden.

It's annoying?

A block is not seven miles long.

Very little rust on the Honda, despite its ancient age.

Do you live in what's considered "The Rust Belt"?

Nope. You said "East Coast" though. Even construing that very narrowly, there is a large area of the East Coast where cars don't rust.

My Ranger and Mrs. LAJ's Ranger didn't have a spec of rust on it. Obviously, your east coast sled does, hence my revulsion to actually touching it.

Strava errored on the debut. Fitting.

The Saturn’s side panels never rust because plastic. Looks like a few bubbles under the paint on the hood suggestive of rust but no biggie. For 23 years old, it looks pretty good.

When I lived in upstate New York back 1981, I got compliments on what good shape my 14 year old MG was in. When moved to California, some mechanics refused to work on it for fear or tetanus.

When I finished school, I took my ancient, rusted Celica to trade it in. Cut the deal on the new car, and asked about the trade in. The guy looked at me and said, “The thing has cancer. We’ll only charge you $50 to haul it off.”

Sold this today. I did not list it on any auction sites.

The buyer did bring a trailer though.

Poor Jeep. Cast aside. Kicked out. :(

In PA BITD, the semiannual inspections required no rust-through on the body, so Pennsylvania cars have a lot of Bondo. When I moved to Ithaca, I discovered New York has annual inspections and VERY lax rules on rust. A girl I dated then bought a car from one of the professors. It was 10 years old, so it was really cheap. It passed inspection. You could see the ground through the trunk, and smell the exhaust in the cabin. I remember riding with her, about an hour to her family's home in Syracuse, and smelling the exhaust - well laced with partially burned gas - this was a 1969 Chevelle, after all. I wonder whether we arrived in Syracuse with rosy cheeks from the carbon monoxide.

Didn't even have it up for sale. Two different people stopped and asked if I wanted to sell it. I haven't used it for quite a while, so I sold it.

I did some brake (break) work on a 3/4 ton truck from New Jersey one time. That was it. Never again. The next vehicle that came in like that, I estimated everything I figured I'd break (brake), which was everything, and doubled the hours I expected it would take. Easy-Peasy.

They knew the score.

No I did not. However, it did not record on the backtrack.

It made many big road trips, including one to Phoenix.

Dang I should've done something special for my 10-year Stravaversary a couple months ago.

Check out my activity on Strava: https://strava.app.link/1JJl3lVdclb

oooh, they even specified Hazel Dell, WA!

Fancy shoes mys size for sale locally. If they were Boa, I'd be wearing them right now. Don't know if I can go back to laces.
