Because I’m fully dressed and waiting on my son to get here so we can go to dinner. Exercise and related activities will have to wait.

Critics out in force today. So it goes.
Had a boring, but peaceful quasi-jog at sunset. Now listening to the organ recital. #VeloVolZen |

I’m currently watching Donnie Darko on HBO Max. I’ve seen this movie at least 3x and still don’t fully understand it. :foo:
Can’t not watch it though when it comes on. #ScaryRabbit |

A friend had a Pugsley with 4.0s and I took him to a trail with lots of climbing. There are a few steep switchbacks littered with rocks and sand. He just cruised around those turns like they were easy.

Fat tires make up for my lack of skill. Mostly.

One of the best bikes I've ever ridden was my friend's singlespeed Trek Stache with rigid carbon fork and 29 x 2.8 tires. Reasonably light and unbelievable amounts of traction.
My father has a Fuse with 27.5 x 2.8 tires. When he was down here recently he took our rental Intense Sniper T with 29 x 2.3 tires. Despite the extra squish from the shock he still commented on how little traction he felt he had :) |

I've decided to not watch one minute of the Olympics. It will be an easy task.

The wind was shaking the house about an hour ago but seems to have calmed some. We planned a ride into a wind prone area. Hoping the calm prevails.
