58 miles w/7200' of gain. The kid I rode with turned it into a total hammerfest. At the risk of sounding like bragging DB, I set a bunch of Strava segment PRs, several top 10s, and my best 10 second power ever(1200 watts.) I was totally cooked by the end of the ride and now hurt all over.

been sick as a dog for the last 3 days... lots of sleep, my wife works from home as well and her work setup is in the bedroom, so she woke me up and told me to go to the couch as she had a meeting, that's love right there. I got in a whopping 2.6 miles inside today when I decided I was not feeling it. Will try again tomorrow and try and get about 10 easy miles in just to get the legs moving.

I hope you feel better soon. Getting fresh air (and sun) is always good, even if for a short time.
I did about 20 miles today. Weather was unseasonably good. Thanks, yea I did get outside today, took the dog out and got the trash bin before it blew down the street. No sun as we are having a nasty Noreaster storm, and it started to rain, heavy cold winds out of the east off the ocean. Supposed to have a good amount of rain for the next 3 days. |
Got out Friday morning for 33 miles and back home by 9:00am. Started out it was 78F and when I returned at 9:00am it was already up to 85F.

How fer did I ride. Fer enough. Fer enough?

Did about 25 miles today. First road bike ride in nearly 3 weeks. I've been riding gravel and trails the last 3 weeks. So getting on the Tarmac Pro this morning was like riding a feather! :D

93 miles.
Temps wobbled from 39°F to about 55°F. Winds were mild on the way out, & then gave a nice tailwind once heading back. |

Finally got a nice 21 mile gravel ride in. Work and weather have been a little cruddy on the Front Range this past couple of weeks. Always better than the basement trainer!
|
59km. Chilly one today, as temperatures have dropped down to near zero - big change from Thursday, where it was low 20s and I was wearing shorts and a t-shirt on my evening ride home from work.

I only had time for a short, 17 mile ride Sunday morning but it's better than nothing!
|
I did 55km (about 24 miles) this morning. Weather was nice but a lot of wind. Filled up my bottle of water, but forgot to put it on my bike when I left home so made a stop at a gas station to buy some water.

60 km with winds force 5 and 8 C

No riding, I too am dealing with a cold. I probably could ride, but there is no upside to pushing it. Besides, it gets me a chance to get some projects down around the house. Finished installing laminate flooring and baseboard in the master bedroom. Next on the agenda is to do the guest bedroom, aka the "trainer pain cave." The nasty 30 year old carpet has black grease spots all over it from excessively lubricated bike chain:lol:. I also need to do the flooring to get rid of the stack of it that is sitting in my sun room...I need that space back to establish my home gym.
