Maybe he'll watch it if he ever gets a chance.

He could watch it right now, if he wanted to.

Speaking of baseball, how about some free baseball!

Cranks and bars and stem sourced. I don't think I have any roadie brake levers in the junk piles.

Bummer about the cranks is how the 4-arm spiders have different shoulders for the mid and big ring, so this chainring will need to spend some quality time with an angle grinder to go in the mid position.

I'd rather have my Surly Open Bars on but I'll have to shim them to go in this road stem. For some reason I only have two 1-1/8 MTB quill stems on hand.

Yep, that'll be on the colortini after we're done with our late dinner.

25-year-old me would chortle heartily at the idea of 8:15pm being a late dinner.

I watched the Cubs-Cards for old times sake. Not sure why.

Early start for today. Must drive to Newark, De for the century.

Fun fact: it’s spoken new-ARK if Delaware and NEW-erk if NJ.

Or, save your money and not purchase any of that nonsense.

Fixie gravel bike, FTW.

That's one of my favorite builds of all time. I like the new things they've built but that Steamroller is perfect.

Soft opening of the shop's second location today, including a group ride.

Going to try it out, the route is on much more familiar and less trafficked roads, so maybe it won't be as stressful.

Chub Hub!

I don't have the legs for single speed gravel. At least, not with the terrain we have around here.

You just need a gear low enough to get up the hills and then you've gotta spin like mad (or go very slowly) on the flats - easy peasy.

1:1 ratio should be okay for the hills, but I'd spin out at something like 8 mph.
