What area are you coming to? If you are near me you can use one of my bikes.
I’ll be in Wburg- we still haven’t booked a place yet |

Thats the plan. Just something semi-close while the kids are in break
If you want restaurant ideas let me know. Colonial parkway is worth the drive, doesn’t take long either. Hopefully I am a day or two when you are here. |
I don’t know how old your kids are, but if you can only do one show at BG I highly recommend celtic fire in Ireland. It’s really good. I enjoyed it and my daughter who is almost 4 really liked it.

6 inches of blowing snow, maybe 8 its hard to tell. Colder than a divorcee heart out there! It was 49 degrees on Wednesday. Wtf happened? 4wd for the win today. Winter is so fickle anymore...

The SportWagen was safely nestled in the garage, so it was warm and dry when Mrs. rjones28 headed to the station.

Our weather has always been fickle but this winter it's positively schizoid. We had 52º on Wednesday, 8" snow yesterday, and it was 2º this morning.
We hit 68 yesterday. Temperature is currently dropping and it's very gusty. Around 3 am we had a squally line come through. It sounded like someone was spraying my bedroom windows with a fire hose. |

I've often debated within myself where the line is as far as "sound" goes. What constitutes "good". The industry constantly engineers thing to be perfect and that's how we end up with the garbage they produce now. Auto tune, beat adjustment, etc. I like music that sounds like humans made it not computers. (Except for the stuff made with hard drives, I find that really cool. I don't know why.) A missed note, timings a little off. Etc. Put some heart and soul into it.
I understand your point, and I tend to agree. I HATE auto-tune. That said, beat adjustment has been around for a very long, and likely occurred on some of your favorite music. It's just a lot easier to do in a digital format. Unfortunately, that ease of post-performance manipulation maybe allows some performers to lean on that crutch too much, rather than putting in the effort to improve their initial performance. |
